Scholarships
Scholarships are not available at this time. Additional scholarship information will be posted as funds become available. Thank you for your patience as we strive to provide more enriching experiences to underserved students through grant-funded support.
The Central Coast Aquarium graciously recognizes the generous support of the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust for providing Discovery Lab scholarships to nearly 700 local students in the 2024-25 school year.

AM I ELIGIBLE?
- Scholarships are reserved for Title I schools.
- PreK-12th grade students are eligible to receive scholarships.
- Some program scholarships may apply to specific counties.
- Scholarships are applied to program fees. We are unable to cover the costs of bus transportation at this time.
HOW TO APPLY
- Scholarship application instructions will be posted as funds become available
- Please be prepared to provide a statement of need in your application detailing how the desired program will enhance student learning
- You may complete our School Program Interest Form at any time to schedule a program with us (this is not a scholarship application).

As soon as funds become available! We are working to secure funds for Fall/Winter of 2025.
We hope to provide additional scholarship details in January or February, 2025.
Scholarships are reserved to one per class of up to 30 students. Fee reduction levels are based on availability of funds and level of financial need.
Title I students from PreK-12th grade are eligible for scholarships.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for your application to be processed. If eligible, you will be notified and asked to verify your school’s Title I status.
All available program scholarships will be posted on this page as they become available. At this time, we do not have program scholarships available for Floating Labs or other school programs. Please visit this page again early next year for scholarship updates.
