Aquarium Explorers

Program Info
Please select Pre-K Aquarium Explorers as your program option in the school interest form below.
- Program lasts 45 minutes.
- Class of 30 students.
- $15 per student.
- Chaperones (includes teachers, instructor aids, and parents): We allow a 30:5 student to chaperone ratio free of charge. Each additional chaperone that exceeds this ratio will be charged a $5 fee. To provide the best learning environment for students, we kindly ask that no more than 10 chaperones accompany each class at a time. Additional chaperones will be charged the $5 fee and asked to rejoin their student(s) after the program.
Hands on Learning
We welcome little ocean learners to join us for a 45 minute program featuring our touch tank organisms and friendly swell sharks. We focus on learning through the senses, as we explore slippery sea stars, spiny sea urchins and more!
Scholarships
The Central Coast Aquarium strives to offer scholarship assistance for school program fees. Funds are awarded at the discretion of the Aquarium on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
Note: Some funds are reserved for SLO County Title I students. Applicants will be asked to provide information about their school, program of interest, and a statement of need describing how the desired program will enhance student learning.
