Birthday Parties Avila Beach

Relax and enjoy your child’s next birthday! They will have a blast when celebrating their birthday party at the Central Coast Aquarium and so will you. Just bring in food and cake and leave the rest to us! 

Party Packages

Little ones will love celebrating their special day with their friends and favorite sea animals. During your 2 hour party you will have access to tables and chairs, goodie bags, a game, craft, aquarium exploration time, and an animal encounter. Parties take place in our upstairs classroom complete with decorations.  

Mermaid and shark theme available!

Party Package Includes

  • Up to 12 kids and 12 adults (additional children $20, adults $7 – 30 people max)
  • 2 hours of party time
  • 30 minutes before and after party time for set up and tear down
  • Mermaid or Shark theme
  • Tables (with tablecloth) and chairs
  • Goodie Bags & Craft (age appropriate)
  • Aquarium exploration time & Shark Encounter

Time options: 10:30 – 12:30 or 1:30 – 3:30 Saturdays and Sundays

Party Extras

Shark Encounters: Included

Fun and educational shark lesson with a personalized Swell Shark Encounter for your birthday group! Guests will get up close and personal with our local shark species while learning about their unique adaptations and behaviors (~20 minutes).

Treasure Hunt: $25

Entertaining and educational treasure hunt throughout the aquarium with the help of a staff member. This exciting exploration can be tailored from little guppies who aren’t yet able to read, to big groupers who are well versed in marine science (~20 minutes).
